Le Tre Meraviglie del Mondo

“The Three Wonders of the World” is the outcome of a journey undertaken by the participants of the Pangea Day Center within a trash-art workshop. Through the creation of three dioramas, the boys and girls shaped symbolic microcosms: boxes that act as open windows onto passions, dreams, frustrations, as well as deep emotional resonances.

More than a superficial act of recycling, these creations become a pedagogical device capable of translating individual imagination into a collective narrative. Through a process of relational mediation, each recovered fragment has passed through a constant dialogue between individual feeling and shared craftsmanship.

In this project, reclaimed materials become a metaphor for possible rebirth: what is often considered “waste” regains new meaning and beauty through the intentional act of care. The act of “creating together” thus becomes an opportunity to look beyond appearances, showing that even from what we dislike or consider useless and “to be thrown away,” something can emerge that still has much to say.
