La Valle del Cavallo Bianco

View of the wheat fields in the White Horse Valley, with the depiction of a white horse carved into the hillside in the background, featuring grooves more than a meter deep. The “Geoglyph” dates back to the Bronze Age, and it remains a mystery who created it. It was used as a location in the music video for Midge Ure’s song “Breathe” in 1994, the same year I created this painting. Also featured as the cover of the 2001 art calendar.
