She was born in the south of Sicily, land of light and water, extreme border of Europe.

She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, attended the Facultad de Bellas Artes in Valencia and the LABA Academy in Florence, where she obtained a first-level master’s degree in visual arts with an internship at the ‘Pecci’ museum of contemporary art in Prato. She displayed her work in various exhibitions and events throughout Italy.

In 2013 she founded the artistic group ‘La Malafabbrica’, promoter and organiser of all the editions of ‘TonnArte’. , art on display in the spaces of the Marzamemi tuna fishery in the province of Syracuse.

In 2023 she opened the doors of her studio, and StudioBlu81- contemporary art was born, a creative haven in the heart of the seaside village of Marzamemi. Paper, ink, pigment and graphite to tell the story of places of the soul.

A visual journey during which the concept of resistance is questioned and celebrated starting from fragility: a reflection on the capacity of art and humanity to persist, adapt and find beauty in a constantly changing world.
