Amico mio

In this image, I wanted to capture the essence of friendship by portraying two children locked in a fraternal embrace that seems to erase the entire world around them. I used a raw surface such as an OSB-3 wooden panel to strip away any embellishment and focus on what is essential. My intention is to convey the deep meaning of friendship—its emotional strength, its ability to support those who experience it, and the positive energy that arises from human connection rooted in solidarity, affection, and mutual support. It can be born in any context, no matter how difficult, devastated, or poor, and I imagined it within a war-torn setting such as Palestine.
