Nel canyon di Hockney

I chose to embark on a journey of reinterpreting masterpieces by great painters, filtering them through my own gaze and sensibility.
In this work, I drew inspiration from the art of a master such as David Hockney and his vision of landscapes, where nothing is taken for granted. The composition does not depict a coherent landscape as such, but rather the sum of continuous shifts in perspective and sensory overlaps, guided by the sinuous flow of the road.
The work is further expressed through the juxtaposition of vivid, contrasting colors, which I wanted to render more dreamlike through the combination of collage textures. Each element is conceived to evoke a sense of wonder and amazement, positive energy, and a touch of vibrant vitality.
